AGM
The AGM for 2026/27 will be held on Tuesday April 28th 2026 at 7pm at Portsmouth Rugby Club, Norway Road, Portsmouth PO3 5EP . This will also incorporate the annual awards ceremony.
Nominations for committee and officers (complete with names of proposer and seconder) need to be sent to the club secretary no later than Tuesday 14th April 2026. Please consider standing for office and supporting the club.
Notices of Motion for consideration at the AGM and proposals for charity donations (4 charities will be awarded £250 each) also need to be received by 14th April 2026. If you feel there is a local charity that should benefit from a charitable donation from the club, please let the secretary know.
Nominations, along with reasons for the nomination, are invited for the PJC Joggers' Jogger award. This will be voted on at the AGM and the Jogger receiving the most votes (from those nominated) will be awarded the shield.
The agenda, finance report, minutes of previous AGM, nominations and motions for consideration will be published one week prior to the meeting.
On completion of the AGM and awards ceremony, the meeting will be followed by a social quiz. This will be the 4th year of holding the quiz - it is proving very popular. Teams are a maximum of 6 people and there will be a cash prize of £60 for the winning team.
